DEVELOPMENT - Principal Photography in London! 2

Yesterday we went to London and have now completed all of our principal photography! All of the group was present.

We got to London early and stayed all day, which allowed us to get all of our filming finished before it got dark. We took daylight into consideration before progressing into London so we roughly knew how long it would take for us to get our filming done.

As most of our locations were situated within walking distance, this made it easier for our group as we did not have to worry about the time pressure of getting to and from places.  We stuck to the schedule that myself and Kate B created which helped us manage our time appropriately as we knew exactly what location we had to go to and what the shot consisted of. Throughout the day as we walked through new locations, we added in additonal shots that we felt would suit our storyline. These locations included the Southbank skate park, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.

PLANNING - Principal Photography in London! 1

On Friday 21st January, we are travelling to London to finish filming our principal photography.

The main issue that we had during planning, was to find a suitable boy that would be willing to give up their time and take part in our music video. However, this problem has now been resolved as we have a reliable boy available to play the part in our music video.

Here is a list of the locations we intend to visit in London on Friday for our filming:

Bexleyheath Train Station

Train

Charing Cross Train Station

Bus Stop

Starbucks

Borough Market

Millennium Bridge

Southbank/Embankment

Trafalgar Square

This is part of our principal photography schedule that myself and Kate B created for our filming in London. It is easily set out in a simplistic table so we will easily be able to identify the locations we need to visit, the camera shots and camera angles we need to use and what is happening in the shot.
